We are so excited to be able to host monthly private ceramic workshops at the Dayfeels studio in Cape Town.

What to expect |

A beautiful few hours exploring clay and immersing yourself in the craft. This 2.5hour session ceramic course, aimed at beginners (no previous experience required), gives students the opportunity to experiment with clay, with focus on completing small functional ware.

You will be taught the basics of hand-building and decorating techniques including coil, slab and pinch construction. With the option of coming back the following week to glaze and decorate your own already fired pieces or leaving them with us to be completed.

The finished items can be collected from the Dayfeels studio once they have gone through their final firing stage.

Workshops will either be on a Sunday morning from 10am or Wednesday early evening from 5pm.

Cost |

R1100 per person. This includes tools and materials used during the sessions as well as the sanding, clear glazing and firing of items.

Light refreshments and snacks provided.

Only 4 people max per session.
